Embedded in the fabric of our community, and committed to lifelong learning, CAC serves as a space where people can reflect, create, collaborate, and connect.

CAC is dedicated to ensuring all experiences are inclusive, respectful, productive, and harassment-free for everyone and to maintaining an atmosphere where all can enjoy our events and exhibits. In order to provide a safe and enjoyable learning experience for all, we ask that all visitors to CAC please abide by these policies and the CAC Code of Conduct. Visitors in violation of these policies may be subject to denial of entry into CAC, removal without a refund, and/or loss of ticket privileges for future exhibitions, programs, and events.

General Policies

  • Contemporary Arts Center’s code of conduct can be found here.

  • Do not touch the artwork. Visitors should always keep a safe distance of approximately an arm’s length or three (3) feet away.

Non-Discrimination + Eligibility Verification (Ohio Compliance)

The Contemporary Arts Center (“CAC”) is committed to maintaining an environment that is inclusive, equitable, and free from unlawful discrimination, in accordance with the Ohio Civil Rights Act and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Policies requiring proof of eligibility for access to certain programs, benefits, or admissions—such as the presentation of a valid student identification or an active Teen Membership—are applied uniformly and consistently and are based solely on program eligibility and operational requirements. These requirements are not intended to, and do not, discriminate against any individual on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, disability, age, military status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other status protected by law.

CAC staff are expected to enforce eligibility verification requirements in a professional, respectful, and non-discriminatory manner. Reasonable accommodations will be considered where required by law or appropriate under CAC policy.
