Join us for the opening celebration of Finding Your Place, a Teen Art Show in the CAC's sixth floor Community Gallery. The CAC’s Teen Council invited young adults, ages 13-19 to submit original 2D and 3D artwork for this collaborative exhibition of local artists.
As teens age out of childhood and begin taking steps toward adulthood, it can be hard to find their place. Finding Your Place will feature work that celebrates, laments, and expresses all the feelings that fall in between when trying to figure out who you are.
The opening celebration will take place on February 22 from 1-3pm.
Contemporary Young Adults (C-YA) is a collective of 16 high school students who work within the CAC, providing insight on how to better engage the museum’s ever-growing teen audience.
