Join us on September 14 from 5-7pm for the opening reception of Make Tank Inc's Illustrated Memoir Project, Knowing Ourselves, Understanding Each Other.
This powerful show, in the CAC's Community Gallery, highlights the life stories and illustrations of English language learner students. Through words and images, students have captured important moments from their life. These works of art increase understanding of different people’s lived experience and ways of knowing and seeing the world in the hopes of fostering a more welcoming and vibrant community.
