Join us for a private workshop inspired by the CAC exhibition, A rehearsal on legacy with Zaha Hadid. Did you know that you can construct floors and walls using compacted soil? Join Associate Professor, Paula Meijerink from Ohio State University, to learn about the architectural process of rammed earth. Following the presentation, students will use molds to build their own rammed earth structures, inspired by the work shown in the gallery.
This program is designed for children ages 6-12 and their parents or caregiver. Tickets must be obtained in advance to reserve each child’s placement. There will be no charge for CAC members but registration through Passage is required. There is a $5.00 charge per student for non-members. Registration for parents or caregivers is not required.
Homeschool Wednesdays are made possible in part by state tax dollars allocated by the Ohio Legislature to the Ohio Arts Council (OAC). The OAC is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically. Additional funding is provided by the Charles H. Dater Foundation.
