The Building Re-Imagined

Artist Mark de Jong and architects John Isch and Renee Martin will tour visitors through the CAC, both as it is, as well as a newly imagined state. As part of a commissioned project for de Jong’s Swing House exhibition, Isch and Martin worked with the artist to create a hypothetical re-design of Zaha Hadid’s iconic structure that would amplify it’s most artistic inclinations. Drawings that describe this speculative re-construction are on display at the CAC, and this tour will shed vivid light on the provocative re-build.
