The students will tour Jane Benson’s exhibition, Half-Truths, and explore the story of two brothers separated by displacement but who still share a long distance connection through musical composition. Following the tour we will head to the UnMuseum where students will create faux botanical sculptures inspired by the artist’s work.
This program is designed for children ages 6-12 and their parent or caregiver. Space is limited. Tickets must be obtained in advance to reserve each child’s placement. There will be no charge for members but registration through Showclix is still required. There is a $5.00 charge per child for nonmembers.
Homeschool Wednesdays is made possible in part by state tax dollars allocated by the Ohio Legislature to the Ohio Arts Council (OAC). The OAC is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically. Additional funding is provided by the Charles H. Dater Foundation and Louise Taft Semple Foundation.
