Join us as we tour the newest exhibition at the CAC, focusing on work by the Swiss-born, NY-based art artist Ugo Rondinone. We’ll examine multiple works that include a neon rainbow, colored windows, hypnotic wall paint, floating mandalas and life-size clown sculptures. There will be so much to see! Following the tour students will learn about the history behind mandalas and work together to create one of their own.
This program is designed for children ages 6-12 and their parent or caregiver. Space is limited. Tickets must be obtained in advance to reserve each child’s placement. There will be no charge for members but registration through Showclix is still required. There is a $5.00 charge per child for nonmembers.
Homeschool Wednesdays is made possible in part by state tax dollars allocated by the Ohio Legislature to the Ohio Arts Council (OAC). The OAC is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically. Additional funding is provided by the Charles H. Dater Foundation and Louise Taft Semple Foundation.
