Free movement and vocal workshop lead by acclaimed contemporary Moroccan dancer and choreographer, Bouchra Ouizguen!
Her current dance piece and training is based on the importance of ritual, breath and voice, and the power of endurance. During the workshop, participants will be introduced to her practice, celebrating the strength of femininity and community that is freed of the barriers of age, origin, and language.
No performance training or experience is necessary to participate.
“The artist and her performers take us very far into a state of primordial innocence. By the end of the performance we are physically exhausted as if we were back from a very long journey.” —Abdelkader Damani
