Join us as we explore the work of two artists, Robert Del Tredici and Dayton-based librarian Matt Kish, both of whom found inspiration in Herman Melville’s iconic 1851 novel Moby Dick. Educators will take a tour of this unique exhibition, filled with drawings and prints, that rediscovers Moby Dick for a contemporary audience.

Following the tour, you are invited by local scribe and writer Mike Fleisch to engage in a creative, collaborative workshop exploring the ways in which words and illustrations can socially constitute stories. Participants will discover insights into the domains of design process, individual-group learning, and the spectrum of creative practice.

Dinner and Wine will be provided from 5:00-5:30, educators are welcome to use this time for networking.

Teacher Workshops are FREE to teachers and education students, but space is limited and reservations are required. The tour will start promptly at 5:30pm. RSVP:
