Throughout the fall, students from Xavier University’s School of Arts and Innovation have met with CAC staff to learn about careers, the general operation of museums and the details behind one of CAC's current exhibition, Myopia. Join us to see this juried exhibition created by the students in response to Myopia and the artwork of Mark Mothersbaugh.
The students' work will be on display in CAC's Black Box and Lower Level Lobby. The work will be up for a week, but there will be a Closing Reception on Thursday, Dec. 10th. Details below:
Exhibition Dates: December 7th, 2015 - December 11th, 2015;
**Closing Reception: December 10th. 2015, 6:00-9:00pm
"Refraction is the collective response to Mothersbaugh's Myopia exhibit -- a principle that by definition allows eyeglasses to correct eyesight; a symbolic reminder of Mothersbaugh's first pair of glasses that ulitmately become the pivotal moment in his budding artistic career." - Courtesy of Xavier Univeristy's Art Department students.
