Join us for our first home school program as we learn about the artist Duke Riley. Riley uses the past to recreate historical artifacts using contemporary materials. We’ll begin with a tour of his work from the project After the Battle of Brooklyn which was inspired by a submarine used during the Revolutionary War. Following the tour we’ll test out our own mini submarines and practice some basic scrimshaw techniques. Designed for children ages 6 to 12 years old and their parents or caregivers.
