Family Scrapbook Workshop: Inspired by Sheida Soleimani's Ghostwriter and Lillian Schwartz’s Pictures from a Gallery
Celebrate your family's stories through art in this hands-on scrapbook workshop, inspired by Sheida Soleimani's Ghostwriter series and Lillian Schwartz’s Pictures from a Gallery video collage. Before the event, participants will submit 15-20 family photos, which the CAC will print to use during the session. Using these images and a variety of collage materials, you'll craft a personal scrapbook that preserves cherished memories and connections, mirroring Soleimani’s staged photographs and Schwartz’s digitized family histories. Your finished scrapbook can serve as a meaningful keepsake or a heartfelt gift for the holiday season.
