Brad Bird’s debut feature film, The Iron Giant (1999).
The film was given a muted rollout by Warner Bros in 1999 and was considered a box office bomb, but over the past 25 years it has grown to beloved classic status in the film and animation communities. And director Brad Bird shook off the financial failure of the film and went on to direct two of the most successful animated films of all time in the following decade (The Incredibles and Ratatouille).
