From June-August 2025, Karen Boyhen worked with the community to build a tiny Cincinnati using mostly recycled items, Cincinnati staples like Fountain Square, the Great American Building, Washington Park, Schwartz's Point and more! Come see how this fun, creative and engaging residency project came to life! The downtown branch of the Cincinnati Public Library has agreed to put Tiny Cincinnati on display and we're celebrating October 12 from 2-4PM with Karen and special musical guest, Ricky Nye!
Join team Tiny Cincinnati! Together we'll build a small scale version of parts our city from the ground up. Construction materials include: paper mache, recycled materials, found objects and other mixed media. Imagination and creativity is valued and you're encouraged to bring your ideas to sessions. Draw, paint, build, explore materials, and once the sculpture starts to take shape, utilize stop motion as well. Reimagine Cincinnati with us — no experience necessary!
