Discover the art of wet felting in this hands-on workshop led by renowned fiber artist Celeste Malvar-Stewart. Come create your own felted bowl using alpaca and wool fibers sourced from Ohio family farms. Participants will be guided through the process of layering and manipulating natural fibers to form a beautiful, three-dimensional decorative vessel perfect as a keepsake. Also included in the workshop, is a private, artist-led viewing of Celeste's work, Amalgamation, in the CAC gallery.
This workshop is hands-on and suitable for adults, or children ages 10 years old and up.
Note: Wet felting can be a little messy — we recommend wearing clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting wet. Aprons will be provided.
