Join the CAC for a remote homeschool workshop inspired by the artist Kahlil Robert Irving. Learn about Irving’s past and current installations in the CAC lobby featuring a 30ft custom wallpaper mural and a carpet installation inspired by his digital inhabitance and the street as a site of becoming and resistance. Create your own urban carpet inspired by both Irving and the architect, Zaha Hadid. Sign up by April 14 to order a hands-on art kit and have it delivered right to your home! Homeschool families can use the lesson plan to create at their own pace or follow along virtually with CAC instructors on April 21. This program is designed for children ages 6-12.

Space is limited. Register in advance to reserve each student’s kit. There will be no charge for members to reserve a kit but registration through Showclix is still required. There is a $5 kit charge per child for nonmembers. Kit delivery is free.

Homeschool Wednesdays is made possible in part by state tax dollars allocated by the Ohio Legislature to the Ohio Arts Council (OAC). The OAC is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically. Additional funding is provided by the Charles H. Dater Foundation and Louise Taft Semple Foundation.

Register to reserve your individual kit.
