For centuries, the world of art,as well as architecture, has been debating whether architecture is an art or just the creation of a solid structure for the benefit of society. The Confinement and Tom Schiff exhibitions explore how architecture IS art. The workshop will include a tour of both exhibitions, a discussion on architecture as art and a lesson activity. Brunch and mimosas will be provided from 10:00-10:30am. Educators are welcome to use this time for networking. Educator Workshops are open to all teachers and education students. Non-members $5.00; Members and pre-service educators are free. Space is limited and reservations are required. The workshop will start promptly at 10:30am.
