Baloji is a Belgian rapper, MC and hip hop artist of Congolese origin. He creates a spellbinding mix of old and new sounds with bitingly modern lyrics and visuals. His acclaimed music video Peau de Chagrin/Bleu de Nuit is based on Congolese wedding tradition, where a couple stands in front of a vegetal installation, a Pygmy tradition and will be screened in Ohio for the first time, along with Baloji’s new short movie, Zombies, which tackles our over-connected generation and contemporary digital culture.
