Activism is an underutilized teaching tool—one that can help students build skills in writing, critical thinking, community building, and understanding of history, tolerance and empathy. Join the artists of the CAC’s Archive as Action to discuss the importance of bringing activism into the classroom. This educator workshop will include a tour and workshop led by the artists, Cal Cullen and Lindsey Whittle. Brunch and mimosas will be provided from 10:00-10:30am. Educators are welcome to use this time for networking. Teacher Workshops are open to all teachers and education students. Non-members $5.00; Members and pre-service educators are free. Space is limited and reservations are required. The workshop will start promptly at 10:30am.
