Iceman 3000 is a world premiere work by Modern Dance choreographer Susan Honer and sculpture artist/composer Sean Simon for MamLuft&Co. Dance.

Inspired by Ötzi (a mummified, 5,300 year-old "iceman" discovered in the Austrian Alps in 1991). Honer and Simon reimagine the story in the year 3000 A.D. with dance, sculpture and sound in the iconic fifth floor gallery of the Contemporary Arts Center.

Iceman 3000 is presented in conjunction with the installation Deep North by Chris Larson as part of his larger exhibition Function is Redundant at the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC). The performance is presented by MamLuft&Co. Dance in partnership with the CAC.

Thursday, May 24: FREE Post-Performance Q&A — with Dance Artists, Choreographer (Susan Honer), and Composer-Artist (Sean Simon)

Friday, May 25, 6:45PM: FREE Pre-Performance Discussion and Exhibition Tour — with Curator (Steven Matijcio), Choreographer (Susan Honer), and Composer-Artist (Sean Simon). (American Sign Language interpretation provided.)
