Coaches, educational signs, and even the film Gizmo will help you explore the quirky attempts of scientists and flight enthusiast’s interest in personal flight. Inspired by artists like Leonardo Divinci and early aviators such as the Wright Brothers, participants will create their own flight contraptions and costumes. A GE Aviation employee will be on hand to demonstrate and explain the science of flying. Participants will be encouraged to share their flight apparatus at the Oxford Kinetic Festival on April 19th where there will be a special obstacle course and prizes!
