Photographer Wynn Bullock was born in 1902 in Chicago, IL. He studied Photography at the Art Center School in Pasadena, CA. Bullock has been the subject of various solo exhibitions, including at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles, CA (1941); Canton Jewish Center, Canton, OH (1968); Tokyo Institute of Polytechnics, Tokyo, Japan (1981); and Monterey Museum of Art, Monterey, CA (2019). He has also participated in several group exhibitions, including at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, NY (1955); San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco, CA (1984); Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL (2002); and Bibliothèque Nationale de France at the Francois Mitterand Site, Paris, France (2023). Bullock died in 1975 in Monterey, CA.
