Photographer Werner Bischof was born in 1916 in Zürich, Switzerland. He graduated from the Zürich School of Applied Arts in 1936 in Zürich, Switzerland. Bischof was a photojournalist for various magazine, including Life, Observer, Illustrated, and Epoca. Bischof died in 1954 in Trujillo, Peru.
