Photographer, painter, and printmaker Virna Haffer was born in 1899 in Aurora, IL. She has been the subject of various solo exhibitions, including at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA (1960); California Museum of Science and Industry, Los Angeles, CA (1964); New York Camera Club, New York, NY (1967); Museum of Contemporary Crafts, New York, NY (1968); and Tacoma Art Museum, Tacoma, WA (2011). Haffner died in 1974.
