Artist Details

Biography

Tracy Featherstone was born in 1975 in Cincinnati, OH. She earned a BFA in Drawing from the
University of Cincinnati in 1997 and an MFA in Printmaking from the University of Arizona
in 2002. In 2016, Featherstone created a commissioned interactive sculpture for the
Contemporary Art Center’s UnMuseum. She has been the subject of several solo exhibitions,
including those at MeetFactory, Prague, Czech Republic (2013); Eva G. Farris Gallery, Thomas
More College, Crestview Hills, KY (2016); and Caestecker Gallery at Ripon College, Ripon, WI
(2021). She has also been included in numerous group exhibitions, such as Contraption,
Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts, Wilmington, DE; Two Kinds of Funny, Meyers
Gallery, University of Cincinnati, OH (both 2012); 3 weeks 13 women 93 works, Sanskriti Kendra
Gallery, New Delhi, India (2015); Off the Wall, Spartanburg Museum of Art, Spartanburg, SC;
Pre-existing Condition, Thunder-Sky Gallery, Cincinnati, OH (both 2018); and Shift: Thinking
Globally, Acting Locally, Riffe Gallery, Columbus, OH (2021). Featherstone currently lives in
Cincinnati, OH, and works in Oxford, OH where she is a Professor of Art at Miami University.
