Artist Details
Tom Berg was born in 1943 in Aberdeen, SD. He received his BA degrees in English Literature and Fine Art in 1966, an MFA in Printmaking in 1969, and an MFA in painting in 1972, all from University of Wyoming in Laramie, WY. Berg has been the subject of various solo exhibitions, including at Mill Street Gallery, Aspen, CO (1995); Victoria Price Art and Design, Santa Fe, NM (2006); and Wade Wilson Art, Houston, TX (2011). He has also participated in many group exhibitions, including State of the Arts/Arts of the State, Fitzgerald Gallery and the Tamarind Institute, Albuquerque, NM (1995); Contemporary American Realist Painters, Halls Crown Center, Kansas City, MO (1996); Taos/Albuquerque/Santa Fe, Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, Cedar Rapids, IA (1998); 10th Anniversary Exhibition, Hidell Brooks Gallery, Charlotte, NC (2008); and Recent Art Acquisitions, The Albuquerque Museum of Art and History, Albuquerque, NM (2011). Berg currently lives and works in Santa Fe, NM.
