Artist Details
Tishan Hsu was born in 1951 in Boston, MA. He received his BSAD in 1973 and MA in Architecture in 1975, both from Massachusettes Institute of Technology. He has been the subject of many solo exhibitions, including at Carnegie Mellon University Art Gallery, Pittsburgh, PA (1987); Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, CA (2020); and MAMCO, Geneva, Switzerland (2024). He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, including Emily, Anna & Tishan: The First Generation, Asian Arts Institute, New York, NY (1985); Regard Multiple - Acquisitions de la Societe des Amis
