Terry Berlier was born in 1972 in Cincinnati, OH. She received her BFA in 1994 from Miami University in Oxford, OH and in 2003, she received an MFA from University of California in Davis, CA. She has been the subject of various solo exhibitions, including Divergent Timing, Center for Contemporary Art, Sacramento, CA (2009); Loop-Erased Random Walk, San Jose Institute for Contemporary Art, San Jose, CA (2013); and A Kind of Ache, University of Maryland, College Park, MD (2021). Berlier has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, including Installations, The Carnegie Center for the Arts, Covington, KY (2000); Home, FemArt 06, Mostra D'Art De Dones, Barcelona, Spain (2006); Shadow Shop Participant, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco, CA (2010); and Altered States, Lexington Art League, Lexington, KY (2018).
