Multidisciplinary artist Sylvie Fleury was born in 1961 in Geneva, Switzerland. She graduated in 1981 from Germain School of Photography in New York, NY. She has been the subject of several solo exhibitions, including at the Centre d'art contemporain, Martigny, France (1992); Sonje Museum of Contemporary Art, Seoul, South Korea (2001); Musée d'Art Moderne et Contemporain, Geneva, Switzerland (2008); Bass Museum of Art, Miami Beach, FL (2017); and Kunst Museum Winterthur, Winterthur, Germany (2023). She has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, including Manifesto, Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea, Turin, Italy (1992); Noir Nero Black Schwarz, Musée des arts décoratifs, Lausanne, France (1999); Hyperdesign, Shanghai Art Museum, Shanghai, China (2006); Neon - Vom Leuchten der Farbe, Museum für Konkrete Kunst, Ingoldstadt, Germany (2013); and Transformationen, Museum Franz Gertsch, Burgdorf, Switzerland (2023).
