Stephen Conroy was born in 1964 in Helensburgh, UK. In 1986 he graduated from Glasgow School of Art and completed his Post-graduate studied there as well. Conroy's work has been featured in many exhibitions, including at Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh, UK (1986); National Portrait Gallery, Edinburgh, UK (1993); and Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain, Pavilion du Parc, Paris, France (2000). Conroy currently lives and works in Scotland.
