Disney Chafetz was born on 1922 in Providence, RI. He graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI in 1947. His work can be found in many public collections, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia, PA; Columbus Museum of Art, Columbus, OH; Library of Congress, Washington, DC; and Museum of Modern Art, New York, NY.
Chafetz died in 2013.
