Artist Details
Scott Grieger was born in 1946 in Biloxi, MS. He received his BFA in 1971 from California State University. He has been the subject of various solo exhibitions, including at the Los Angeles Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, CA (1983); Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design, Los Angeles, CA (1984); and Crossroads School, Santa Monica, CA (1993). He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, including New Directions/California Painting 1985, Visual Art Center of Alaska, Anchorage, AK (1985); Particular/Peculiar (Modern Portraits), Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum, Santa Barbara, CA (1989); It's Only Rock and Roll, The Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, OH (1996); and New Prints, International Print Center, New York, NY (2001). Grieger currently lives and works in Venice, CA.
