Surrealist artist Salvador Dalí was born in 1904 in Figueres, Spain. He graduated in 1926 from the San Fernando School of Fine Arts in Madrid, Spain. His works can be found in the public collections of several institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, NY; Reina Sofia Museum, Madrid, Spain; the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL; The Tate Modern, London, UK; and The Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice, Italy. Dalí died in 1989 in Figueres, Spain.
