Visual artist, performer and writer Sally Alatalo was born in 1960. She received her BFA from Kansas City Art Institute in 1985 in Kansas City, MO and her MFA from School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1985 in Chicago, IL. Alatalo has exhibited or performed at many venues, including Printed Matter, New York, NY; Hyde Park Art Center, Chicago, IL; Carleton College, Northfield, MN; Poetry Society, London, UK; Room Gallery, Rotterdam, The Netherlands; and Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, IL. Her publications include Unforeseen Alliances (2001); Magic Alice (2016); and An Arranged Affair (2017).
