Artist Details

Biography

Photographer Robert Flack was born in 1957 in Guelph, Canada. He received his BFA from York University in 1980. Flack has been the subject of several solo and two-person exhibitions, including at the Niagara Artists' Centre, Toronto, Canada (1986); MacDonald Stewart Art Centre, Ontario, Canada (1993); and Paul Petro Contemporary Art, Toronto, Canada (2021). He has also participated in various group exhibitions, including O Kromazone: Die Anderen Von Canada, Das Institut Unzeit, Berlin, Germany (1982); Medium Photocopy, Saidye Bronfman Centre, Montreal, Canada (1987); AIDS Timeline, Wadsworth Atheneum, Hartford, CT (1990); and Time is Thirsty, Kunsthalle Wien, Vienna, Austria (2019). Flack died in 1993 in Toronto, Canada.
