Biography
Painter, sculptor, and installation artist Rashawn Griffin was born in 1980 in Los Angeles, CA. He received his MFA from Yale University in 2005. Griffin participated in the group exhibitions The Regional, Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, OH; Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City, MO (2021-22). His work can be found in the public collections, including at the Studio Museum, Harlem, NY and Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art Kansas City, MO. Griffin currently lives and works in Kansas City, MO.
