Raquel André | Contemporary Arts Center

Performance artist Rachel André was born in 1986. She received an MA in 2016 from Federal University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and is currently in the process of obtaining a PhD from Lisbon University in Lisbon, Portugal. Her performances have shown at various venues, including Collection of Artists, Teatro Nacional D. Maria II, Lisbon, Portugal (2019); Exhibition of Lovers, Teatro de Bairro Alto, Lisbon, Portugal (2021); and Belongingness, Teatro Rivoli, Porto, Portugal (2024). André currently lives and works in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
