Rand Abdul Jabbar | Contemporary Arts Center

Rand Abdul Jabbar was born in Baghdad, Iraq in 1990. She received her MA in Architecture from Columbia University in 2014. She has participated in numerous exhibitions, including Place and Unity, Maraya Art Centre, Sharjah, UAE (2016); Phantom Limb, Jameel Arts Centre, Dubai, UAE (2019); Icon. Iconic: Richard Mille Art Prize 2022, Louvre Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi, UAE (2022); and A Permanent Nostalgia for Departure: A Rehearsal on Legacy with Zaha Hadid, Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, OH (2023-24). Abdul Jabbar currently lives and works in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
