Artist Details
Noyes Capehart was born in 1933 in Nashville, TN. He received a BFA in 1958 from Auburn University in Auburn, AL and an MFA in Printmaking in 1964 from University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. His work has been featured in many exhibitions, including at the Brooklyn Museum National Print Annual, Brooklyn, NY (1964); North Carolina Museum of Art, Raleigh, NC (1972); Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington, DC (1981); Appalachian Cultural Museum, Boone, NC (2001); and Turchin Center for Visual Arts, Boone, NC (2007).
