Painter and sculptor Naftali Bezem was born in 1924 in Essen, Germany. From 1943-46 he attended the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, Israel. His work has been featured in various exhibitions, including at the National Museum, Jerusalem, Israel; Haifa Museum of Art, Haifa, Israel; and the Tel Aviv Museum, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem. Bezem died in 2018 inTel Aviv, Israel.
