Moshe Castel

Biography

Painter Moshe Castel was born in 1909 in Jerusalem, Palestine. He studied at Académie Julian and École du Louvre, both in Paris, France. Moshe's work can be found in many public collections, including at Tate Gallery, London, UK; Museum of Modern Art, New York, NY; Museum of the Vatican, Rome, Italy; and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco, CA. Castel died in 1991 in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel.
