Artist Details
Michael Aschenbrenner was born in 1949. He received an MFA in 1978 from University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN. He has been the subject of several solo exhibitions including at New York Experimental Glass Workshop, New York, NY (1987); Whatcom Museum of Art, Bellingham, WA (1995); and Craft and Folk Art Museum, Asheville, NC (2015). He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, including at Minnesota Museum of Art, St. Paul, MN (1977); Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, OH (1986); Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, NY (2003); and Museum of Craft and Design, Los Angeles, CA (2015).
