Architect, designer, and artist Max Bill was born in 1908 in Winterthur, Switzerland. He graduated from School of Applied Arts in Zurich, Switzerland in 1927, then studied at the Bauhaus from 1927-29 in Dessau, Germany. Bill died in 1994 in Berlin, Germany.
