Biography
Mary Flinker was born in Woodland, California in 1978. She moved to Cincinnati when she was one and started painting and drawing two years later, at the age of three. She has drawn and painted all her life, taking classes in school. When she turned twenty, she started a studio practice at Visionaries and Voices, which she maintained for about a decade. Since then, she’s transitioned to making her work from her home studio. She has worked in Gallery Security at the Contemporary Arts Center since August 2007. Flinker currently lives and works in Cincinnati, OH.
