Artist, composer, and performer Martin Creed was born in 1968 in Wakefield, UK. He graduated in 1990 from the Slade School of Art in London, UK. He has been the subject of many solo exhibitions and projects, including at the Camden Arts Centre, London, UK (1995); Kunsthalle Bern, Bern, Switzerland (2003); Tate Modern, London, UK (2006); The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Ridgefield, CT (2013); and Museum für Konkrete Kunst, Ingolstadt, Germany (2023).
