Sculptor and curator Martha Głowacki was born in Milwaukee, WI. She received her MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has been the subject of many solo exhibitions, including at Washburn Observatory, Madison, WI (2005); Racine Art Museum, Racine, WI (2013-14); and Chazen Museum of Art, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Madison, WI (2017). She has also participated in group exhibitions at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL; Milwaukee Art Museum, Milwaukee, WI; Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati; and John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Sheboygan, WI.
