Artist Details
Marcos Avila Forero was born in 1983 in Paris, France. He graduated from École Supérieure des Beaux Arts of Rueil in 2006 in Rueil Malmaison, France. Avila Forero has been the subject of several solo exhibitions, including at École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris France (2010); Pori Art Museum, Pori, Finland (2018); and Kyoto Art Center, Kyoto, Japan (2019). He has also participated in many group exhibitions, including Orient’art Express, Centre d’art Moulay El Hassan, Oujda, Morocco (2012); Rights of Nature, Art and Ecology in the Americas, Nottingham Contemporary, Nottingham, UK (2015); and Bordes de la cotidianidad, Museo de Arte Miguel Urrutia, Bogotá, Colombia (2019). Avila Forero currently lives and works in Paris, France.
