Louis Bouché was born in 1896 in New York, NY. From 1913-15, he attended Studied at the Academie Julian, Academie Colarossi, Academie de la Grande Chaumiere, and the Ecoles des Beaux-Arts, all in Paris, France. In 1915 he studied at the Art Students League in New York, NY. His work can be found in the public collections of many institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, NY; Los Angeles Country Museum of Art, Los Angeles, CA; and The Phillips Collection, Washington, DC. Bouché died in 1969 in Pittsfield, MA.
