Photographer and sociologist Lewis Hine was born in 1974 in Oshkosh, WI. He attended University of Chicago, Columbia University and New York University. His work can be found in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL; George Eastman Museum, Rochester, NY; Library of Congress, Washington, DC; and International Photography Hall of Fame, St. Louis, MO. Hine died in 1940 in Dobbs Ferry, NY.
