Multidisciplinary artist Kim Dingle was born in 1951 in Pomona, CA. She received her BFA from Cal State Los Angeles in 1988 and her MFA from Claremont Graduate School in 1990. She has been the subject of various solo exhibitions, including at the Santa Monica Museum of Art, Santa Monica, CA (1995); Brown University, Providence, RI (2000); Lightbox, Los Angeles, CA (2008). Dingle has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, including American Kaleidoscope, National Museum of American Art, Smithsonian Institute, Washington, DC (1998); The Darker Side of Playland, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco, CA (2000); The Avant Garde, Orange County Museum of Art, Costa Mesa, CA (2014-15); WOMAHR, Fondazione Molise Cultura, Campobasso, Italy (2020).
